LECTITP is a physically demanding and intensive training program. LECTITP is an instructor-the-trainer training program that provides basic training to prepare new instructors to enforce the law in the areas of arrest and control tactics and techniques, intermediate weapons, and defense against spontaneous attacks, including attack with a sharp weapon. This program also includes instructions on threat assessment and response, use of force and injury management, and the incorporation of electronic control units.
