Hrms Pass Cancellation Rules

The allocation of railway reservation passes is intended for employees of railways in service. All railway employees who must travel by train to perform their duties have a service card allowing them to board the trains. For Duty Pass, you can also book all Rajdhani trains. This passport is issued before the actual travel date of the employees to fulfill their service in accordance with Indian railway rules throughout India. Sometimes these passports have a limited duration during which they have to travel by train. In accordance with the above instructions, the procedure for allocating pass quotas has been recommended for serving or retired railway employees travelling on free service/privilege/post-retirement passes (PRCs). Please take note of the Executive Board`s letter of 14.08.2020 (EBR No. 66/2020), in which the guidelines for the HRMS e-Pass / PTO module are disseminated. The deadline for issuing physical passports has been extended until 31.12.2020 and it has also been communicated that from 1 January 2021 the system can be converted to the ePassport module for all employees in service without exception.

Now, privilege passes and PTOs must be requested and claimed by railway employees online. With this facility, the railway employee should not go to the office to apply for a passport, nor should he wait for the passport to be issued. 2. It was noted that the HRMS e-Pass/PTO module has been accepted by a large number of railway employees and, to date, close to 2,75,000 passports have been issued through the HRMS module. However, it should be noted that some issues related to the issuance of e-passes were reported by some parties, due to some technical and logistical issues that resulted in delays in issuing passports and tickets to employees. The complaints mainly concerned the generation of OTPs and the implementation of data entry in exceptional cases, as well as knowledge of the new way of issuing passports. 5. Railways are advised to comply scrupulously with the legal provisions in force and to issue appropriate passports. 4.

The matter was further discussed in the Bureau of the Committee and, in order to avoid difficulties for staff members in using passports, the competent authority decided that, in exceptional and urgent cases where the ePassport could not be issued due to non-compliance with data entry or other unforeseen technical problems that could not be resolved within a specified time frame. Physical passports can be issued until 28.02.2021. However, the issuance of passes through the HRMS module must be prioritized and physical passports can only be issued in urgent and exceptional situations. When issuing passports in physical mode, the employee`s passport account can be updated in the ePassport module without exception. The Rail Pass is a pass that covers the cost of train travel over a certain period of time. The first rail pass was issued in March 1959 under the name Ural Pass.
