We provide free legal advice to people living in North East Victoria and South Riverina of NSW, by phone or in person at various locations including: We are a non-profit legal centre established in 1999 under the auspices of UMFC. We are based in Albury-Wodonga and provide legal services at various locations in 17 local government areas. We offer lectures on various legal topics. These are aimed at services and charities. We provide free legal advice to people living in north-east Victoria and the Riverina of southern New South Wales. This advice can be given by phone or in person at various locations, including Wodonga, Wangaratta, Albury, Deniliquin, Corowa, Lavington, Bright, Corryong and Albury Wodonga Aboriginal Health Unit. The Get Help section provides legal information about the most common issues people face when affected by a disaster. Topics include fences, property, destroyed wills and documents, and insurance and mortgage issues. Disaster Legal Help Victoria`s partners include the Law Institute of Victoria, Federation of Community Legal Centres, Victorian Bar and Justice Connect and Victoria Legal Aid, which are coordinating Victoria`s legal response to the bushfire crisis.
