Legal Age for Clubbing in Ibiza

30 years is not too old to go to clubs as long as you go to clubs that have an older audience. I`m 38 and I go to clubs every month and my friends are between 25 and 60. We go to dance clubs where the DJs are the same age. Earlier this year, I mentioned to my girlfriend that I felt I had missed the clubbing scene and she told me the same thing. I`m still 20 years old, but I feel like I missed clubbing because I never wanted to join my colleagues who go to endless parties during university days. I plan to take my cousin, who is new to Europe, to Ibiza this summer – but she can`t drink for health reasons, and none of us like hanging out with strangers, taking drugs and partying like an animal every night. None of that. So I was looking for advice from a calmer and more mature visitor and found this article really useful. Thank you very much 🙂 Clubbing in Ibiza can certainly be expensive.

Admission costs between $50 and $80 and drinks start at around $15 per drink. Bottle service usually starts at 1000 euros for the cheapest tables. The official age to buy alcohol on premises in Spain is 18 years. And the regulations are the same in Ibiza.Even if you get alcohol for free or an adult over 18 allows you to do so, it is still illegal. In addition, it is also forbidden to drink alcohol in public places. These include streets, public parks and the beach. However, they can consume alcohol in beach clubs licensed to serve on their premises. I am planning a trip to Spain in the summer of 2018 for my 50th birthday. I`ve never been to Ibiza before and I want to cross it off the to-do list in this special year of my life. Therefore, I was quite relieved and inspired by your article here when I found it googling “Am I too old to make a club in Ibiza” :-)) (The answer to all the important questions of life can really be found on the Internet.) Thank you for all the wonderful information on where to go, where to stay and also what to wear.

Thank you!! It is always worth checking the official guidelines of the place you wish to attend to avoid the disappointment of being turned down. Nightclubs in Ibiza are required by law to check that you are at least 18 years old in order to allow you to enter. However, some of these sites enforce their policies more firmly than others, and this ultimately depends on several factors discussed above. You can still enjoy good music in some places if you are under 18, as long as you are accompanied and supervised by adults. But remember that public consumption of alcohol is still illegal. Finally, if you don`t want to risk losing your government-issued ID, a photo on your phone and proof to verify your name (like a credit card) should be fine. Ultimately, however, it`s up to the door staff to allow it or not. I`m so glad I found that! I just turned 55 and I intend to have my 1st clubbing experience with friends/work colleagues, I want to do it before it`s too late, I thought! Really brightened up reading these reviews, I love music, I`m sure a lot of people are in my position where I was a late developer and where the nightclub and nightclub scene was missing when I was 20.

I fully intend to do serious clubbing when I am there with my partner, she is 48 5`1″ tall with an amazing figure and weighs 7st 2lbs after 4 kids. But Ibiza is much more than a party destination, where people leave after a week of consecutive clubbing only to be destroyed. In fact, the island has matured to make it a perfect getaway for us demanding 40 year olds. It is also important to know that it is illegal to sleep on the beach. So if you go to the beach to enjoy an early sunrise after clubbing, do your best not to fall asleep. The police patrol regularly, and they are not friendly with backpackers sleeping in the sand. The resounding answer is that you`re not too old to go to clubs in Ibiza, no matter how old you are. The clubbing season starts in mid-May and lasts until mid-October. Until May, most of the super clubs such as Amnesia, Pasha, Ushuaia, Hï Ibiza and Privilege will open their doors with spectacular opening parties, always big, great periods of the clubbing calendar for islanders and tourists, a good reason to visit this beautiful island this month.

The official and legal age to enter clubs in Ibiza is 18 years. However, identity verification (for age) is a rare practice and you will probably be asked if you really look young. Due to an interesting flaw in the Spanish constitution, the consumption and cultivation of cannabis in private spaces is legal. This means you can smoke weed and grow it in your own home. However, if the plants are on your balcony, it`s illegal. This loophole has led to the creation of cannabis clubs where members can legally buy weed. However, these clubs are members-only and usually by invitation only, so most tourists can`t use them to get good weed easily. You have to be 18 years old to drink alcohol in Spain. It is forbidden to give alcoholic beverages to persons under 18 years of age, either free of charge or with parental consent.

It is illegal to drink in public places where there may be children, so not on the street, in parks or on the beach; There are stiff fines for that.
